Dr. Hickel has been my PCP for several years now. She is smart, current, listens intently, asks good questions, then discusses/explains the issues and/or treatment options. Dr. H is a respected and trusted partner in my health journey.

Our family seeks her counsel whenever we need a physician in an urgent care situation (and sometimes for routine care too!). Dr Hickel is amazing and the whole PCA at Huffman practice and staff are excellent. It is the best healthcare clinic i have been a patient at and i am over 50 and have lived in several states. They are attentive, compassionate, honest and a partner in my health. I highly recommend this clinic. They are also an immediate care location so often i can see someone after hours and on the weekend. I appreciate this practice so much.

Amazing experience so far! PCA have been able to fit me in same day within an hour on a very short notice and Dr Shawna Hickel is a godsend! She cares, she listens, gives you options, is quite knowledgeable, explains potential issues well yet in a very considerate manner, follows up timely, I can keep going. Night and day from the last clinic and doctor I went to. Highly highly recommend both PCA and Dr Hickel!

Wow, finally went in for chest pain and shortness of breath. Everyone there, especially Dr. Hickel were very helpful and extremely nice and professional. Determined what it was quickly and got me on antibiotics. What impressed me the most was the follow up from Dr. Hickel and her staff. She called to see how I was doing later that day and to see if I had picked up my prescriptions. Dr. Hickel told me she was off over the weekend but her assistant would be giving me a call. I was contacted through the weekend and again by the doctor on Monday. Sounds sappy, but I really felt like they cared about my health and how I was doing. Seemed more concerned than my primary care doctor. Might have to see about switching. Overall I was extremely please with the care and overall concern shown by everyone at the Primary Care Associates on Huffman. Will definitely go back for any other issues.
